  • Rugby Tots

    Rugby Tots is a family-owned franchise that has partnered with our club to run our U3-U5 program. Their fun, structured play sessions take children on a journey of sporting imagination with engaging and energetic coaches supporting them every step of the way whilst teaching how to catch, pass, kick, run with the ball and play as part of a team.   • U6-U7 Tri-TAG rugby

    Our U6-U7 hatchlings compete in a mixed gender, non-contact “Tri-Tag” based game that focuses on ball handling and running skills. Similar to Touch Rugby, this 5-a-side game played on a quarter sized field is designed to combine basic skills with Rugby Union concepts in a fun environment, suitable for both boys and girls. U6s and U7s play on Saturdays against other North Brisbane clubs.

    Tri-Tag is played with 3 tags around the waist.

    U6 – 5 players on the field with 2-3 subs (8 players per team)
    U7 – 7 players on the field with 2-3 subs (10 players per team)

  • U8-U9 Mixed

    As the snakelet’s skill levels progress they are introduced to the more technical aspects of the game, with the U8 and U9 teams being introduced to scrums, tackling and line-outs. Games are played on a half size field. U8s and U9s continue to play on Saturdays against other North Brisbane clubs.

    U8 – 7 players on the field with 2-3 subs. Aim for 10 players per team.

    U9 – 10 players on the field with 3-4 subs. Aim for a team of 13-14 players.

  • U10-U12 Mixed

    Our U10–12 SeaSnakes step into the real game: 12–15 players, full field, and all the big skills—rucks, mauls, scrums, lineouts, tackling, passing, and kicking.

    From U10, we battle across Brisbane in graded comps, keeping games safe, fair, and fun under Rugby Australia’s height/weight policy.

    Sundays are for rugby: fast, contested matches where our young Seasnakes strike hard, learn teamwork, and show the future of Redcliffe rugby is fierce.

  • U13-U18 Boys

    From U13 onwards, our Seasnakes step into the full game: full side, full field, and the Under 19 laws. Matches are played under the official rulings of World Rugby, including 7s and U19 variations, with directives from Rugby AU, QRU, and BJRU.

    This is where our young Seasnakes truly become rugby players—testing themselves in union competitions, learning to thrive under the same rules that shape the global game, and showing Redcliffe’s bite on the big stage.

  • U12-U18 Girls

    Our SeaSnake girls climb the grades in two‑year steps—U12, U14, U16, U18—each stage bigger, faster, tougher.

    U12: First taste of the full field, 12‑a‑side contests, building teamwork, tackling, and ball skills.

    U14: More structure, scrums and lineouts introduced, sharpening continuity and support play.

    U16: Intensity rises, matches follow Under 19 variations, developing tactical awareness and resilience.

    U18: Full side, full field, Under 19 laws—played under World Rugby rules and Rugby AU/QRU/BJRU directives.

    Every Sunday, our girls strike with pride and power. From U12 foundations to U18 full laws, they grow into fierce competitors—proving Redcliffe’s SeaSnakes are ready to bite hard on the Brisbane stage and beyond.
